One full day in Rio de Janeiro is intentionally left open for you to experience the city your way before an unforgettable evening at the world-famous Sambadrome Carnival Parade.

You’re free to relax on Copacabana Beach, visit Sugarloaf Mountain, explore local markets, book a spa treatment, or simply enjoy Rio at your own pace.

For travelers who want a little more structure, we’ll offer a curated menu of optional Playday experiences that have been carefully selected and vetted. Options may include hang gliding, helicopter tours, beach clubs, wellness experiences, food tours, and more.

You may choose to:

• Book one optional experience

• Book multiple experiences (schedule permitting)

• Spend the day exploring independently

• Relax and recharge before the evening’s festivities

All optional Playday experiences are self-directed and priced separately from the base package. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from any optional activities. Detailed recommendations and booking guidance will be provided in advance.
